My wife and I recently celebrated our 30th anniversary with a beautiful dinner at Luna Bar + Tapas, located inside Costabella Tropical Beach Hotel in Mactan—and it was honestly one of the most romantic and memorable nights we've had.

We kicked off the evening with a round of cocktails and mocktails, and the vibe was instantly elevated. The bartenders were skilled and friendly, and every drink we tried was spot-on. It really set the tone for a cozy and intimate night.

For food, we went all in on their Spanish-inspired menu:
🥚 Spanish Omelette – Simple yet flavorful.
🐙 Octopus – Tender and perfectly seasoned.
🍲 Callos – Rich and comforting, just how we like it.
🍚 Lamb Paella – The highlight of the night! Hearty, aromatic, and great for sharing.

We wrapped up our meal with some classic churros and one more round of drinks to toast the occasion. Everything was well-prepared, and the ambiance made it feel extra special.

Luna bar is located inside Costabella and opens at 4pm to midnight. We made good use of the bar during our stay.. The bar staffs are all very nice and friendly like the rest of the resort staffs. They have Happy Hour on selected cocktails and mocktails daily from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at PHP 420 for 2 cocktails and 20% off for other drinks like Long Island Ice Tea that still very affordable and they even deliver it to the pool for us. All cocktails and mocktails that we tried are all very good with a generous alcohol content! They serve tapas and Mexican food at this bar. The bar has a pool table and two darts boards, cozy seating and romantic ambience.

Good bar with great ambience. It certainly wasn’t busy when we visited but the location was good and cocktails were excellent. There’s also a pool table and darts area along with large screen TV’s showing sports. Service was good and staff were very friendly and helpful.
