My family stayed at the Flamingo this week, and honestly, for being the oldest hotel on the Strip, our rooms were surprisingly decent. I also booked the so-called VIP experience but never got any notification that it was approved, just the lovely surprise of being charged for it anyway. The whole reason I even tried the VIP package was to skip the long checkout line, but since I had no idea it went through, I ended up using the self check-in kiosk instead. The self check-in kiosk was very easy to use; I’m honestly surprised more people don’t use those. On the bright side, I got to check in two rooms two hours early for $20 per room, which was probably the best $40 I spent here (plus tax).
The rooms themselves were fine, and they do have daily room service, which is a plus. But the showers… who designed these things? Half glass, half curtain, and 100% guaranteed to flood your bathroom floor. Also, shoutout to my floor neighbors who treated door-slamming like an Olympic sport well past midnight. Truly a display of dominance.
All jokes aside, it wasn’t a bad stay. A few quirks here and there, but I’d stay again, just maybe without the “VIP” mystery charge next time.

We absolutely loved the Flamingo! Iconic & so fun! There's so much to do, multiple shops & restaurants, casino, shows, the grounds, the pool (there's an adult only party pool, too), etc. Wonderful resort, there's hardly a reason to leave. We loved the classic art deco & 20's & 50's type swanky vibe. It throws back to when it was established but has been updated beautifully & is in an amazing spot for everything. It's like it's own little town. It's right on the strip, it's right next to a huge promenade I didn't even know was there (by the Linq Ferris wheel, in plain view out the back of the building), & is only a few minutes walk to a lot of Vegas's biggest attractions, including the Sphere. The restaurants were wonderful & I was so happy that the Carlos & Charlie restaurant had multiple Gluten Free options (I had a bad gluten reaction at the Havana restaurant even though the food was SO GOOD & it was supposed to not contain gluten, so be careful if sensitive). The spa was great, staff was very friendly & all the services were also great- massages were top notch & the pools (1 hot tub, 1 warm & 1 cold) were very enjoyable/relaxing, too. We had the "high roller view" & it faced the back grounds & Sphere & Linq, we really liked that. The grounds were awesome, with actual flamingos, & beautiful gardens to walk through with birds & fish. The general pool area is relatively small for a resort but still beautiful & feels luxurious, & there is a grille/pub poolside. You hardly feel like you're in a big city when you're on the grounds. We loved the fun, swanky, tropical but still classic & iconic Vegas vibe. I hope we get to go back!! ❤️🦩

We had a great time staying here! I had read that the Habitat tower had new updated rooms, so I selected that when booking. Our room was very nice and clean. The bed was comfortable, and the location of that tower was centrally located within the hotel. The pool was fun one day however we got there early and got 2 chairs. I could see it being hard to find a "free" chair as several of them have a "rent me" sign on them. This hotel was a great location on the strip and was so worth the price. Cannot wait to come back! Thank you!!
