Really nice hotel, big rooms & comfortable beds. Industrial feeling, made up comfortable. I believe it used to be an old factory. Good location, walking distance from downtown (20-30 mins, nice walk!) and not far from the airport. Service staff is friendly and helpful. Food at the bar is great and the bartender was amazing. Definitely recommend!

My experience at this hotel deserves taking a moment to write a review. Traveling most weeks for business, I get a chance to stay at many different locations and hotel brands across the country. Other hotel brands should look at the Iron Horse and take a few lessons in the Customer Service category. The hotel itself is amazing. Building is incredible and the place was spotless, but my interaction with the staff and what I witnessed is what sets this hotel apart from others. My business partner and I decided to stay here and cover the room expense for a couple of our clients. On the day before our arrival, one of our clients had to back out. I called the Iron Horse that afternoon, explained the situation and with no resistance, The Iron Horse canceled the room with no charge. Amazing! The following morning while sitting in the lobby drinking coffee, I watched as the front desk clerk assisted a couple checking out. The clerk filled a cooler with ice for them for their trip and filled their thermos with coffee. You could tell that this was not putting her out and she was glad to do this for them. In all my travels thus far this year, this is the one that has stood out as a hotel that has not forgotten about the guest experience. If you are in Milwaukee for the night, I highly recommend staying at this property. Keep it up Iron Horse and we will definitely be back if the opportunity presents itself.

A unique experience from check in to check out! It’s like a speakeasy, motorcycle, industrial themed resort with a bar and restaurant all within a mile of the Harley Davidson Museum. I truly enjoyed my stay and I sat in every cozy location I could before leaving. By far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. There really is no onsite parking but there are paid lots and a garage adjacent to the for about $25.00 a night. A definite return in the future for me!
