A boutique hotel that makes you not want to leave the room, but in the very best way. The entire hotel is lined with replica artwork, such as the Mona Lisa that greets you near the front desk. Yes, even on the ceilings. There are so many pieces of artwork that you’ll always see something new. And that aesthetic carries into the rooms. Art ranging from the sublime to the weird to the fantastical makes The Lexi Las Vegas a truly unique stay.

The pool area is wonderfully maintained. Many lounges and chairs to soak up some Vegas sun, or take a dip in the beautifully clear water. No lifeguard, so do be careful.

The Lexi is incredibly easy to get to from the airport, and is conveniently located far enough away from the Strip so you can get a good night’s sleep, but also close enough that you will arrive there in no time. It’s hard to find a place like The Lexi anywhere, especially in Las Vegas. This was a phenomenal hotel that is highly recommended.

Went here for an event this past weekend. I ordered a total of 2 mimosas (which were in a plastic cup) and 1 coke (which was served in a small plastic cup with more ice than coke.) The bartenders were very friendly and that was all fine, but at the end of the night, I had been outside and didn't see that they were closing things down. I ran back to the bar to close out my tab (she'd already closed it) and had been charged an extra $16 for a Moscow mule I hadn't ordered.

She did some stuff on the register to fix it then took my card again to charge the right amount (which still came out to $40 after tip…for 2 plastic cup mimosas and a tiny coke), had me sign it, then said it should appear as a credit for the difference. Of COURSE, the receipts she gave me accidentally went through the washer. And here I am on Tuesday wondering why the charges from Saturday on my bank account are showing 2 transactions in the total of $91. For two mimosas and a coke.

As for the location- I found it charming. That old world art deco feel. I didn't go in the rooms so I can't rate that, hence the 5 stars. I'm not going to judge the bar girl for making a mistake, but my problem is the prices are bonkers for what you get considering this is an off-Strip, older hotel in a cruddy area. And I'm not looking forward to having to deal with straightening out this extra $50 charge….at rent time, of course. My bill was actually supposed to be $26, considering the menu said $11 for a mimosa and $5 for a coke…so they overcharged me on top of the mistake bill.

    Worst Hotel In Vegas:

This place is full of red flags. First of all, it’s not listed on Uber, and our Uber driver had never heard of it. He told us we shouldn’t walk in the area at night.

Upon entering the lobby, it was dark and loud like a nightclub. There were scantily-clad people roaming about that I can only describe as sexy clowns.

We were charged two ~$100 fees upon check-in with no real explanation why, and even if there was, we couldn’t hear it over the clown nightclub music.

Then we hopped in the completely red elevator to get to our room, another spooky experience. The hallway has off-putting fluorescent lighting and there’s a disturbingly tasteless mural in the gym.

Our room, unsurprisingly, was also off-putting. There’s no closet, just a fixture made of pipes with two hangers TOTAL. Our room was for four people, so not sure why they couldn’t provide a few more hangers for us.

I was pleased to see a safe for our goods, however, it was only decorative. It did not function at all, and was not plugged into anything.

Most hotels provide four pillows per queen bed, we only got two per bed. Oddly, the pillows also were able to stand upright despite the laws of gravity. The beds also have a thin metal sheet covering the base of the bed that makes a very spooky noise any time you accidentally kick it. They have AC in the rooms but it barely works – frequently turning on and off with no rhyme or reason. You can open the windows for some fresh air, but there aren’t any screens (of course).

They gave us two Evian bottles but they’re ten dollars each if we open them. Again, the room is for four people. This was the only food or drink provided. We also struggled with the fact that room service ended at 9pm. For Vegas, you would think late night meals could be provided. You definitely don’t want to drink out of the tap either, as all the water has a sulfurous, egg-like smell. For hand soap, there is only one Dove body bar provided (not antibacterial)!

This hotel is located right next to the highway, which makes exactly as much noise as you would think. It sounds like the Fast and Furious and there is a constant purple light that shines in the room. Definitely not the “quiet oasis” off the strip that others describe. It’s also not “near the strip” as the website describes, it’s not walkable at all.

Although everything else could use some work, there was great fresh-brewed coffee on the morning we left. All in all, I would not recommend staying here. Never stay at a hotel booked for you by someone that hates you.
