Absolutely loved this place. One of the best botanical gardens I have been to. Very well maintained and clean. Each area clearly labeled and easy to find. Everything was vibrant and healthy looking and some of the paths were incredibly peaceful and relaxing to stroll through. 100% will be returning and highly recommend others to check it out as well.
Also found the most adorable little roadrunner on the desert path who was trying so desperately to catch a grasshopper. Made my day to stop and watch him!

I visited the Albuquerque Botanic Gardens with my family on a Saturday and it was such a beautiful, peaceful experience. The Rose Exhibition was in full bloom and absolutely stunning. We loved exploring Heritage Farms with the farm animals, and the newly updated exhibition really adds something special. The Japanese Gardens were a highlight; tranquil, immersive, and transporting. It’s a place that feels both inspiring and calming, and it was the perfect way to spend the day together.

I definitely recommend bundling your tickets for both the Aquarium and the Botanical Garden, it’s worth it! The Aquarium is beautiful, with a great variety of sea animals and well-designed exhibits that are fun for both kids and adults. The Botanical Garden is just as stunning, full of colorful flowers, different plants, and peaceful walking paths that make it easy to spend a few relaxing hours exploring.
Both places are well-kept and offer a nice balance of nature and discovery. A great spot to visit in Albuquerque!
