Clean bathrooms, good beer on tap selection. Decent acoustics. But who designed these roof beams? Even I. The old days they knew enough to build better trusses. Look at the sag on these beams?

Woodward Theater is an excellent small-mid size event venue. If you're booking, the management is local and accommodating. Attending events is nice because it is an intimate, well maintained space that has good variety.

We went here for the Halloween string concert. I took my wife and two teen daughters. It was on a Thursday night before Halloween. The neighborhood was safe and secure, the theater was an open floor with folding chairs, kinda cozy but cramped. There was also a standing room area on the second floor with a good view. We paid extra for the "front row" but ended up in the second row. Not really assigned seating, more like first come first serve. But I wasn't mad. The atmosphere and music was great. I would definitely recommend this old theater.
