I loved this tour! Our tour guide was professional, and very knowledgeable. I went to New Orleans for a concert with a friend but I will be returning with my family and use Royal carriages. They have go over a lot of good information and history. I know my family would love it. ❤️🫶

This was such a great experience! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and had a great personality. You could also tell that he had a great relationship with the mule, Armstrong. I was on the haunted tour and the stories were very captivating. This was so fun and I really enjoyed myself!

Our mule-drawn carriage ghost tour of the French Quarter was nothing short of phenomenal! From the moment we stepped aboard, we knew we were in for something special. Our mule, Footloose, was the perfect gentle giant, steady and surefooted as we clopped through the historic streets. And our guide, Lemen, was absolutely outstanding—warm, funny, and a master storyteller who brought centuries of New Orleans history and hauntings to life.

This wasn’t just a ride; it was a journey back in time. We started at Jackson Square, hearing how its elegant façade hides layers of dramatic and eerie history. Passing the legendary Ursuline Convent, Lemen shared the chilling tale of the mysterious Casket Girls, a story that still gives me goosebumps. He painted a vivid picture of the horrors of the LaLaurie Mansion and introduced us to the elusive and immortal Jacques St. Germain, weaving in references to Interview with the Vampire and The Originals that tied pop culture to authentic local legends.

What I loved most was how the tour balanced facts, folklore, and a touch of theatrical flair. Even as a fan of ghost tours, I found this one uniquely immersive—the clip-clop of Footloose’s hooves, the glow of gas lamps, and the backdrop of French Quarter architecture made every story feel more real.

If you’re visiting New Orleans and want a truly memorable experience that blends history, mystery, and a bit of fun, this tour is a must. It’s easily one of the best ghost tours I’ve ever been on, and thanks to Footloose and Lemen, it’s a night I’ll be talking about for a long time!
