Our stay at Crescent City was incredible. A historic house made out of an old barge-board that floated down the Mississippi River. The house is very clean with a fully stocked fridge, clean towels and comfortable beds. It's a short walk to Bourbon Street, Frenchmen Street and Canal Street. But it is still in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful backyard containing a pond and garden, making it great spot to escape the craziness of New Orleans and get a little R&R. Better than the house are the hosts, Matt and Lynn. Extremely friendly, salt of the Earth people who will give your space if you wish, or share a drink with you and tell you the best spots to go. I would highly recommend staying at Crescent City Guest House.

First and foremost, these are great hosts. Very accommodating and were flexible with us on keeping our bags on property as we had a flight later in the day. The property is great…secure, well lit, walking distance to Crescent Park, French Market, Frenchmen Street, neighborhood coffee shops and neighborhood bars. Rooms are nice, everything you need is available and the courtyard is spectacular. Can't recommend this place enough.

We stayed many times before Covid stopped my visiting! I’ve stayed in 3 of the 4 guest rooms. This is my favorite place to stay! We love Matt & Lynn! They are fabulous host! They are like magic elves. They get in and freshen up and restock the kitchen, but never bother the guests. They have everything you need for a quick breakfast, snacks and hydration stocked fully! We love to chat with them when we get the opportunity too. You have a place to park your car, if you need to get to it to sightsee. You are waking distance to the quarter, French market and Frenchman St. I hope yo see them SOON! Ps… the backyard is my favorite spot for coffee in the mornings! A mini garden oasis!
