Amazing all around! So many wonderful things to say about this hotel! We are currently staying here for a week and are so happy to be here! I am currently sitting on my balcony writing this review!
First a big special shout out to Jeff at the front desk and Jen and Kathy in the restaurant! They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy:) This property is very fortunate to have all three of them.
Our room is great with not one but two balconies and a great view of downtown! It’s a great area to walk around and lots of people buzzing about. Clean and quiet and a great neighborhood feel yet close to lots of restaurants and things to walk around to.
Parking is free and right behind the hotel!
Check out the videos to see the rooms and views and please overlook the mess we’ve made everywhere. Got in late last night and just threw things open everywhere lol!
Great spot and room and you won’t be sorry if you stay here! Top Notch!

Our family will always remember the kindness and compassion shown to us by the Strathallan Rochester hotel during one of the toughest times in our lives. We were in town for the funeral of our 20-year-old nephew, and the staff truly went above and beyond to support us.
Ryan and Tim at the front desk were attentive and caring from the beginning, making sure every detail of our stay was handled smoothly. Julie was warm and thoughtful; she even took the time to help us create the program for the funeral. This meant a lot to our family. Amy Santini, the Business Travel Manager, deserves special recognition. She organized a gathering for our family at a nearby restaurant, arranged for catering supplies and extra chairs to be brought into the suite so we could be together, and took care of many more details with such genuine empathy.
It wasn’t just customer service; it was true human kindness, and we will never forget it. In a time of grief, having a place where we felt supported meant more than words can express. Thank you to Amy, Ryan, Tim, Julie, and the entire team for being such a bright light during a dark time for our family.
This is not your usual chain hotel. This place is special and the staff is amazing. Please don't hesitate to stay here.

Stayed 3 nights while in town for a wedding. Not a single USB port in the room, mold in the shower and the stench of weed was pretty powerful. Nice location and free parking and WiFi were appreciated. About what I would expect for a three star hotel but definitely no higher than that.
