My husband and I found Gathering Place Church in 2010 after we moved to San Diego from the East Coast. After a long 7 months of "church shopping", we decided to try one last church. When we got there, we immediately had this feeling of "home". We knew that first day, this was where we were supposed to be. GPC is a spirit filled church, with powerful messages and worship, and an amazing community of people. We love it, and our kids (who have grown up there) love it too!

My wife and I visited several churches in north county after we got married and found our new home at Gathering Place Church. We found out immediately that GPC is: welcoming, friendly and loving; the worship is awesome; they believe in the bible and the messages will encourage, strengthen and motivate you; and the prayer is abundant and powerful. In our shared love for God, we are proud to make this our home where we can make a positive impact on the world, our community and you 🙂

Figured I should give a 10 year update 🙂
My family are still loving Gathering Place Church! The lifelong relationships that have been built is such a blessing. I'd recommend this church to anyone who wants to grow closer to God as well as build lasting friendships. Added picture of a powerful time the men had as we went up to Palomar this past year to encounter God together unified as his mighty men.

I began attending The Gathering Place Church in 2010. From the day I walked in seeking more of the Holy Spirit, I felt at home in the presence of God and wanted more! The worship is authentic and powerful, God-exalting, and drenched with the Spirit of God, and the teaching is relevant and penetrating, firmly rooted in the word of God, and tethered to the heart of Jesus. I respect the leadership as those who live what they preach and truly emulate the character of Christ. I treasure the friendships I have built here over the years and the community that genuinely welcomes, loves, and serves one another and lives for the Kingdom of God. I moved out of state for several years, and when I returned, I knew this was the home I would be returning to without question. I love my church and love serving the Lord here and its people. I have lived in many states in the U.S. and have never found anything like it.
