Palacio Provincial – Hilton, San Juan

We’re currently staying at Palacio Provincial for two nights, and even after just our first night, it has already exceeded our expectations. The staff are incredibly friendly, patient, and attentive, making the entire experience feel warm and effortless.

The hotel itself is stunning—a perfect blend of modern comfort and beautifully preserved historical charm. Located right in the heart of Old San Juan’s historic district, it gives you immediate access to the cobblestone streets, vibrant architecture, and incredible food that define the area.

The rooftop is one of the hotel’s highlights: a stylish bar, refreshing pool, and a relaxing hot tub all overlooking the city. It’s the ideal place to unwind after exploring San Juan.

So far, we’re genuinely impressed and looking forward to the rest of our stay. Highly recommend!

The Hotel Palacio Provincial was a beautiful place to stay in San Juan! We took an Uber from the airport and were able to get out luggage through the cobblestone and into the building.. the bellman took over from there! We enjoyed both the restaurant and food top bar. Service and food/ drinks were excellent. If we had not experienced the flies in our suite at sunset, it would have been perfect! Despite that, we would still stay there again. We had a great experience!

We had a very comfortable stay at the Hilton in Old San Juan. The location couldn’t be more convenient — right in the heart of the historic district, making it easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and all the sights. The staff truly stood out; they were warm, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. The hotel itself is well-kept, clean, and welcoming, which made the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable. A great choice if you’re looking for both comfort and convenience while exploring Old San Juan.
