Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan – 10/10
We checked in on Christmas Day, and the experience has been so exceptional that I felt compelled to begin this review early.
From the moment we arrived, the service has been outstanding. Check-in to our pool villa was seamless, with everything immaculate, calm and beautifully organised.
The food has been a highlight. Breakfast at Saffron is exceptional — masterfully cooked eggs made to order, fresh fruit and juices, and genuinely attentive service that enhances the experience without ever feeling intrusive.
The rooms are spacious, thoughtfully designed and incredibly comfortable. We also appreciated the daily activity schedule delivered to our room, which was a helpful and well-considered touch.
Evenings have been equally impressive, with nightly cocktails offering a great range of options. Azure Beach Club is absolutely stunning — picturesque views paired with impeccable service and drinks of outstanding quality. It’s hard to say no to a perfectly made Negroni with views like that.
The concierge service deserves special mention. Communication with staff has been quick and efficient, and they consistently go out of their way to assist and anticipate needs.
I’ll update this at the end of our stay, but for anyone considering booking — do it. You won’t regret it.

I had a lovely stay at the Crimson, the staff were attentive without being overbearing and friendly and helpful throughout. The facilities are really nice and pool and leisure area decent. The extras you get free are a nice touch (mini bar, lift to airport, snorkeling). The breakfast was exceptional.

My only slight advice is to include service and tax in the displayed cost for everything as expectations when ordering are slightly out.

We had a great time at crimson, the pool with foam was an experience with my kids… And crimzone area was easier for them to play

The staff were very polite, they greet you everytine you pass on them. Upon entering the lobby they offer welcome drinks and snacks for kids (i guess), they help you with your lugagges and very patient to smeone who have language barriers
The area is very neat and clean, gardeners maintening the plants etc…

The one thing i realized is the food is quite expensive, for ex. a cup of rice cost P200, thats almost $4 for a cup and its iritating when someone sweeping the floor while people are still eating. Maybe you can do it after The food is great, presentation is appealing.
