The resort is very beautiful! There are pros and cons to the resort which include the following:

    Cons:
    1. Please make the roads and routes more accessible for those with strollers, the elderly and people with disabilities. Ramps would be a great addition to the resort! Because of the cobblestone roads and the heat, it is difficult for elderly who are using canes or wheelchairs to get around comfortably. If there was accessible transportation for the elders (golf carts, vans) rather than them having to climb into jeepneys, the resort would be more elderly friendly.
    2. The hotel rooms and casa rentals do not have phone lines or call buttons. In case of emergency, it would be great for there to be a reliable line of connection for simple requests.
    3. The staff should have walkie talkies to communicate to the front office or other departments the requests of the customers- this would be more effective and efficient.
    4. The televisions in the rooms do not work nor connect to the internet.
    5. The food at the buffets are a bit lacking, perhaps have more variety and consider freshness of the food rather than the amount available.
Breakfast buffet is 100000000000% better in quality and types than the buffet dinner.

    Now for the Pros:
    1. Staff are incredibly friendly, kind, and accommodating!
    2. The tours are so insightful and well paced! The boat tour at night was absolute perfection and magical! The tour guides (Diana especially) were a delight to listen to and were generous to help in taking pictures for the tourists! Shoutout to the boat drivers (Dan in particular) for going the extra mile to ensure our safety and comfort!
    3. Being able to walk into the majority of the homes to see and admire the architecture without guides was also a nice feature of the resort!
    4. The cultural shows during the dinner were so much fun to watch and participate in! Continue to serve that yummy ice cream by the gallon!
    5. The entire resort was very clean!

All in all, Las Casas is a beautiful and unique place to visit when in the Philippines and of course has so much potential!

    We enjoyed our stay overall!

We booked a standard room and it has all the basic things that we need. Although it would be nicer if there is a luggage rack, we had to just place our luggage on the floor. Toilets are well appointed and huge, it has a shower area and a bathtub.

Las Casas is huge, upon check-in the staff will hand you a huge map and will show where to book tours, where the shows will be and the walking tours. There’s a lot of activities to book, from ATVs to Balsa tour. There’s also a free shuttle around the resort (jeepney) and you can hail it anytime. They also have a dedicated viber number that can answer all the queries for the check-in guests.

Breakfast has a good spread, although it gets very busy on a Sunday and they run out of food and may take awhile. We also tried the food from Ihaw-Ihaw and Cusina and the food was really good. It was all just basic Filipino dishes but everything was delicious.

Did a day trip to visit this area and see the historical sites. We did not stay in any of the rooms but did several of the tours. We were a group of 30 and it was a great experience seeing everyone and experiencing the Philippines. The lunch provided with our tour was so good and everyone had a great time. It was low tide so we couldn’t do the boat ride, but the horse cart ride was fun!
