We’ve been staying at Hotel Alejandro in Tacloban City for twenty years. While the rooms haven’t changed much and could use a bit of updating, the colonial style of the hotel is still charming. It’s very well-located in the center of Tacloban, offering easy access to many places. The rooms are moderately spacious, although the TVs are a bit outdated. The hotel restaurant is excellent, with great breakfasts and delicious meals throughout the day. The service is also very good; the staff are friendly and attentive. Overall, it’s a comfortable and well-situated choice.

if you're a person that loves history and loves to take pictures this hotel is the perfect place for you. I love this hotel because it's like a mini museum, every floor has pictures about the WW2. 3 stars for the room it's comfortable, although it's missing some amenities. There's only one plug available in the room. We didn't had the chance to go and check out the pool because it was very dark upstairs. The service is nice, i love the workers from the Café. Overall, i give this hotel a 4 stars.

A bit run down, but still nice. Lots of history inside. Breakfast buffet is geared more to the locals. No western items.
Pool is very small and 5 ft deep. Not for smaller kids. Pool restaurant only open 2pm to 10pm.
