Cute space to learn a little more about Bohol beyond the Chocolate Hills. Bohol is actually a good place to get blades, where they have pandayan (blacksmiths) right beside this area.

Try the fried mealworms from the gift shop. They taste like green peas.

$150 Pesos plus a guide, support this local gem and Indigenous artisans. I always leave room in my suitcase for crafted Indigenous goods and I was not disappointed. Boholano people are known for their hospitality and this is a gem you should take time out of your trip and come visit. Me and my husband really wanted to see the knife making and was able to pick up a knife with a sheath for under $1000 Pesos. I scooped up some deadly purses. The quality is unreal. Coconut sugar is so freaking good. I’ve been having it in my coffee everyday. kinanâskomitin for the hospitality!

This cultural village is a very small attraction but it is so much fun. Definitely worth the price and I’m sure you will leave with a souvenir of some kind. In our case a beautiful machete. “Homemade” at the cultural village.
