The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences was my friend’s address on his last visit to Manila and he insisted we stay there on our last minute trip over Christmas.

Location-wise, this place is a perfect balance of accessibility to Makati’s business and shopping district (10-15 minute walk away) and a quiet urban neighborhood. Plus, Ayala Triangle’s green spaces is only a few blocks away. We were lucky to have a Saturday there to enjoy the famous Salcedo Weekend Market.

Arrival: the guards were friendly and helpful. Check-in was a breeze. The only shock i had was the steep deposit required… PHP 10,000 (USD 170), which was a bit more than even five star hotels charge.

Rooms: unlike hotels, the Picasso combined the comforts of hotels with the homeliness of apartments. There was a fridge, a sink, microwave, induction cooker. Flatware and silverware were quickly dispatched by housekeeping on request. The bathrooms were more than adequate. Business travelers might have a slight issue with the frosted glass divider on the shower stall which does show a silhouette of the person inside. The beds were a bit on the firm side. They do offer a pillow menu, which helped tremendously with my jet lag triggered insomnia.

Facilities: the property has an amazing display of art. The gym was also well equipped.

Within the property is a Spanish restaurant and a local coffee shop. Wasn’t too happy with the breakfast offerings and service at Pablo but the coffee shop (Cartel) was amazing. We kept coming back. It also helped since my partner and I had specific food needs (low cal/high protein for me, pescatarian for him). We made our own breakfast since it was easy to get fruits, bread and yogurt from the Marketplace grocery shop a few blocks away and the 7-Eleven right next door.

Departure: was swift and as efficient as the arrival.

We stayed at The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences for six days in November 2025 and felt very comfortable overall. The central location, the beautifully designed room, and the pleasant ambiance made our stay especially enjoyable.

Unfortunately, I became seriously ill with food poisoning during our stay. In this difficult situation, the entire hotel team acted with exceptional care, professionalism, and genuine concern. A mobile medical team was promptly arranged, and both my family and I received attentive support and excellent care at all times.

I would particularly like to highlight the team’s warmth, sense of responsibility, and compassion — even after our return to Germany, the hotel management reached out again to inquire about my health. This level of care is by no means taken for granted and deserves the highest recognition.

We would gladly return to this very welcoming and well-managed hotel at any time. My sincere thanks go to the entire team at The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences. I wish everyone a joyful Christmas season and a peaceful start to the New Year.

Ideal for Short and Long-Term Stays

Picasso Boutique Residences offers an excellent accommodation option for both short and extended visits. The rooms feature high-quality layouts and basic amenities, ensuring a comfortable and convenient experience. Notably, the beds and pillows are of good quality, promoting restful sleep. Guests can enjoy entertainment with a Smart TV that provides Netflix access, and each room includes a balcony for added relaxation.

Each room is equipped with a basic kitchenette, which is suitable for preparing simple meals. Additionally, guests have the option to borrow cookware if needed. While the refrigerator provided is mainly suitable for storing drinks, a larger unit would enhance the convenience for those staying longer.

Located in the heart of Makati's Central Business District, Picasso Boutique Residences is surrounded by numerous restaurants, many of which are situated on the same street. This makes dining out or grabbing a quick meal highly accessible.

My family enjoyed our stay at Picasso Boutique Residences and found it to be a top choice. We plan to include it among our preferred accommodations for the New Year's Eve Countdown in 2027.
