Presentably clean and well secured. Lots of security as well as Coast Guard personnel. It should also be mentioned that there are 2 ports in Surigao. One is in Lipata and another one is the Eva Macapagal Port which serve as a transport hub for people visiting Siargao and Dinagat islands. Also there are ships sailing for Cebu from this port. This port also serves as dock for the Fastcraft ferry from Liloan , Leyte.

From Boulevard Port to Surigao Port, we paid P100 for 3 people. This seems to be expensive as the two ports are not far from each other. Maybe locals pay less.
At the entrance, you can see already the different shipping lines available to bring you to Siargao. The Port is spacious, clean, and has working toilets.
There are stores inside where you can buy souvenirs, food, drinks, and when coffee. Try the congee when you're here because it's pretty good.
The port offers a mini-bus to bring the passengers to the fast craft, which is very convenient. I also appreciate that the boat tried to leave on time. This is the only port I have experienced so far that offers a mini bus and I have been in the Batangas Port which is bigger and newer but I remember being asked to walk under the rain at some distance just to get to the RoRo.
There is a minimal terminal fee as it is important for the upkeep of the terminal, which is alright to pay as you can see a clean and working terminal.
