Stay at J hotel and always a good time.
Rooms are spacious with a great design on each of my visit.
Hotel team are lovely, especially the tea-time and room service anttendant are helpful.
Breakfast area was way too busy, I was asked to wait, to later on be rushed because the buffet was closing) coffee was not good)

Yes, it's high. Yes, it's luxury. And depending on the Air Quality Index, you might be able to see somehting. It's also very flashy. It captures one aspect of Shanghai — one I don't regret experiencing. However, prior to our one-night stay at the J Hotel we stayed at the Upper House across the river in the Jing'an district. It was also luxury but much more discreet and better located. Pudong, specifically Lujiazui, is the financial and corporate district — not much for charm. Chosing to stay at the J Hotel was for the novelty. I swam on the 84th floor, I slept on the 86th floor, and I had breakfast on the 101st floor. If I could do it all over again, I might stay at Capella in the FFC, which repurposes historic shikumen buildlings for a small luxury hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at JHotel Shanghai Tower, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The service provided by the staff was outstanding; they were attentive and truly made me feel welcome. The rooms were not only comfortable and well-appointed but also offered an amazing view that enhanced my stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!
