Exceptional hospitality, going above and beyond
My stay at the W Hotel Chengdu was made truly memorable by the incredible service I received, well beyond the usual expectations. After checking out, I realized I had left my favorite flannel shirt in my room. It's a sentimental item, and I was very worried I'd lost it for good.
I immediately contacted my China tour guide Dan Dan, and she called the hotel to enquire about the item for me. The staff's professionalism and care were remarkable! They quickly located my shirt and kept it safe for me. The process was handled with such efficiency and kindness, turning what could have been a frustrating situation into a very positive experience.
It's this level of honest and attentive service that truly sets a hotel apart. My gratitude goes out to Dan Dan, the dedicated hotel housekeeping and lost and found team. I can't thank you enough for rescuing my favorite shirt and for your amazing service!

Beautiful hotel conveniently attached to a mall. Staffs are attentive and friendly; making sure that our check-in and stay is seamless. The room is probably one of the W hotel we’ve stayed at compared to other W locations; with full in-room amenities and plenty of complimentary drinking water. Our favorite is touch of panda everywhere from artwork to in-room pillow and slippers that is really comfortable to wear around the room (also have “male and female” slipper version you can chose from)

First time visiting Chengdu, nothing better than staying in W Chengdu as the staffs are wonderful, friendly and welcoming. Beautiful hotel located at a good location.
Special shoutout to MIKI for her outstanding attitude for being so welcoming and always checking on us every single time without fail. She took the effort to remember our names and recommended us where to go.
Tried all the restaurants in the hotel and food were all great. Good job to the pastry chefs and chefs for the high tea menu. The rooftop bar is beautiful with yummy appetizers and drinks. Usual good standard for breakfast buffet👍🏼 Thanks to Sarah and Christine for good service at the lounge too
