Lauren's art speaks for itself, but if that isn't enough- the experience she provides while creating it is amazing. I can't recommend her enough. She is honest, down-to-earth, and has an eagle-eye for beauty. Her talent transforms a photo to art. I felt completely at home and comfortable the entire time. Even being as big as a house, she made me feel ethereal. My 2 year old daughter is not one to sit still and follow instructions, but SOMEHOW Lauren yet again worked her magic. I first found Lauren when looking for a photographer for a maternity and newborn shoot. Little did I know I would stumble upon a long-term family photographer! From maternity to annual portraits, we have had multiple sessions with Lauren and each one is better than the last. My little human is comfortable in the studio and Lauren always, somehow, manages the best photos even when the little one is not in the best mood. The sessions are quick and efficient and the photos are stunning. After not taking maternity photos with my first baby, I was thrilled to have Lauren capture my second pregnancy with a modern maternity session. It felt like a day at the spa because Lauren really thinks through every detail for you so that you can just relax and enjoy the experience. Prior to the session she communicated the minimal things I should bring (bras I would feel most comfortable in, a favorite pair of heels, and that was basically it because she provided the majority of the wardrobe included in the shoot). @thekennedylook provided hair and makeup which felt glamorous and fun! I initially debated whether to have hair and makeup done professionally, and it was sooo worth it! Lauren was so fun to work with and made me feel 0% awkward and 100% comfortable the entire time. She suggested clothing options from her wardrobe, posing throughout the shoot, and even helped flip my hair over my shoulder to fall perfectly in the photos. Being pregnant during the pandemic with a 1.5 year old at home, was not easy.
