The service is good and the staffs are well mannered. They clean the rooms everyday even when you didn't ask them to clean. They even have a shuttle going to the airport but until 10AM only. As for the food and pastries, nothing special. For me, it's just okay. Overall, from the range of 1-10 with 10 being the highest, I'll rate it at 9.

✅ Hotel is walking distance from plaza and nearby establishments.
✅ Affordable rates with hearty breakfast. They also offer promo rates.
✅ Staff are pleasant and hospitable. They are also kind and prompt in accommodating my request for rebooking.
✅ Heat and water pressure of shower is good.
I just hope thay can add more toiletries aside from 1pc soap. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this hotel especially for travellers who are on a budget.

This is the 3rd time staying at the Phela Grande and was another good experience. The staff are always friendly, polite and very helpful. The food in the restaurant is well prepared. The rooms are serviced every day and to a high standard. The only negative is, if you have requested the free airport shuttle, ring or email the hotel 2 days before, as we were left standing at Gensan airport and had to pay for a taxi. Apart from this, the stay at the Phela Grande was another good experience.
