Every time I go to the Hive I have a blast!! While most creative institutions on LI are a bit gate-kept or artistically conservative… post-Velvet Lounge era, The Hive is a precious gem of a creative space for the 20-40 something crowd in Suffolk County. It’s interior is fresh, eclectic and inspiring, and it’s staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Best of all, their rentals are designed to be affordable for locals. 10/10

The Hive Creative Studies is truly a local gem not only for the Port Jefferson/ North shore side of the island but Long Island as a whole. I’ve found great inspiration in the well kept, high vibrational studio space that has been home to my creative process for well over a year. I would definitely recommend reaching out to either Nick or Ryan (the owners) if you’re looking to up your game artistically, expand your reach as a creative, and find new ideas in a new space.
