Everything about this restaurant was spectacular. The ambiance of the restaurant was to die for; the light, the decor, the little found treasures were beautiful. The service was amazing and accommodating. We were celebrating two birthdays, and this was the perfect place to celebrate!

Ahhh such a nice restaurant in the city!! We got the tacos al carbon with chicken and mushroom. The guac and chips were also very yummy! The vibes are top tier and they even have one of the only vintage photo booths in Philly.

One of my best friends has raved about this place for years. Finally got to check it out while my GF was in town for work. This absolute best thing about El Vez is the customer service. We sat at the bar and immediately felt at home. The bartender Madison (forgive me if I'm wrong as I'm bad with names) was awesome. She even encouraged me to go out of my comfort zone and try something I hadn't before and it was delicious!
I went back the next day just for drinks during lunch. Miles was the bartender and again provided top notch service! Felt like I was talking to a long term friend. He was kind enough to give me a rundown on a few of the Asian cuisine restaurants I was looking at. He nailed it. On my way back to the hotel it took me past El Vez again so I popped in to say thanks but he had just left. On the bright side, Madison was there again and she joked that we would see them next time I'm back in Philly. Can't wait to make it happen!
