If you’re in Fort Worth, definitely stop by the Water Gardens at least once. It’s free, pretty quiet, and a nice spot to relax and chill 🌿💧. Super low-key and peaceful.
Parking is street parking, so just find a spot nearby and you’re good.
BUT heads up… sometimes you’ll see dog poop, and occasionally human poop too 😬 so watch where you step.
Also, if you go in the summer, you might witness some unhinged people trying to swim there…and every now and then you’ll see the cops chasing them out 😂Kinda wild, but honestly adds to the experience.
Still worth a visit.

If you’re looking for a spot that feels like a futuristic film set dropped into the middle of Texas, the Fort Worth Water Gardens is your destination. Designed by famed architects Philip Johnson and John Burgee, this concrete wonderland manages to be both high-energy and deeply serene.
Fun fact: The Water Gardens’ otherworldly, "brutalist" aesthetic was so striking that it was used as a primary filming location for the 1976 sci-fi classic Logan’s Run. When you’re standing in the Active Pool, you’re literally standing on a piece of cinema history!

This place was beautiful. Tranquil and relaxing. There are several water gardens there to enjoy. On my visit, there where two different wedding parties taking pictures. The main garden has steps to walk down into the mist of it. There are signs with rules in different places. Swimming is not allowed. I would recommend a visit.
