About a month late for the review, but saw my favorite band, Autoheart, live at the Slowdown in November! It was such an otherworldly performance and I'm still in awe of it.
The venue was amazing and answered all questions the VIP group had on the day of (there was some confusion on how the VIP members would check in). The staff was responsive, friendly, and accommodating! They made sure everyone had the best night out of it. They even let guests take merchandise back to their car and re-enter the venue (both VIP and GA).
The sound quality was amazing, loud, and atmospheric. It didn't smell sweaty or gross. The bathrooms were fancy and clean. They offered free water in cups to everyone at the bar. A very nice venue!
Oh, and Autoheart was phenomenal! 🫶

Loved it! and the seating .. Close no matter where you are.. The drop down pit is a great feature for those who frequent by the bar, you can still see the stage .. Expensive drinks but fun time lots of staff as well … Yesterday and Today Beatles cover band was absolutely amazing !! Funny, adorable, and they are family !! The lead singers son … Absolutly killllllled it with that smile the guitar rips and his vocals !! I would go back a hundred times!! My card didn't make it to the stage on time but now that I know how it works … I am definetly planning to see another show!! 10 outta 10 all around amazing! Then we had a memorial "party" for my father the next day, hearts full and smiles! even though our hearts are shattered… this place. that band.. those Beatles Notes & Lyrics … COULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED AT A MORE PERFECT MOMENT Gahhh THANK YOU SO SO SO SO MUCH FOR WHAT YOU GUYS DO!! BEAUTIFUL!

Went to see Fred Armisen. Venue is the smallest I've ever been to and im not complaining. I loved it!
They have a lounge area when you first walk in and to the left theres a small section to sit in. Then the bar is pretty long and obviously pricey. Theres some stairs past the lounge to up to the balcony. Its a reserved section and on the side of the standing section is also reserved. Then general admission is a decent size compared to the reserved sections.
Being right in the front, the sound wasn't deafening. I brought ear plugs and took them out once the show started. Didn't feel like I needed them. But then again it wasn't only music playing. Fred talked and played music for the show. So consider that.
Attached is zoomed and not zoomed photos being front row for an idea of the size of the stage.
All and all it's a pretty good venue. Def coming back!
Idk much about parking other than the street parking available that you do have to pay for. I stayed in a hotel near by so I wouldnt have to worry about parking. I would suggest that if youre coming from out of town.
