Nightly rates are reasonable. Service is supurb. Everything is very expensive. Valet parking appears mandatory at $20 per day. Cleaning staff either can't or refuse to speak English (glad I didn't tell them that I work for ICE, eh?). Very good, not great overall experience so far. (More later.)

common areas are not aging gracefully but the rooms are comfortable and well updated. gym has great equipment and the staff are welcoming and eager to please.

The gift shop is supposed to be open from 7 am to 12:30 pm; however, it is not. I wanted something to drink but my only choice was to overpay at the restaurant for a to go cup. Also, I was here for a conference. We ran out of drinks, and nobody from the hotel ever checked in to see that the beverages were maintained. Very poor customer service for such an expensive venue.

Also, my room was cold, but there was no way for me to turn the heater on, only the a/c. The HVAC is terrible. Also, I can't believe they still use CRT tv's in the rooms. I get a better experience at a Hampton Inn, my preferred hotel.
