Make sure you get a map when you get there and make sure someone with good navigation skills is holding that map lol. This place was so awesome, so many trails to explore and a swimming area we didn't know about until we got there. We hiked for 4 miles but its huge we could of hiked for 8+ if we explored the whole place. We highly recommend

So much to do here! You could spend all day exploring the trails, both hiking and biking. Our kids loved the dirt school. There is a swimming area with kayaks, disc golf and winter sports area too. Was $5 for non residents, and $3 for residents.

We experienced this park the first week of November 2025. It displayed the most beautiful scenic fall foliage through the Riverwalk trial I've ever seen. It was incredibly beautiful. The park was very well maintained during our visit. Clean and pristine. There were no bugs during our visit although the temperatures were cool. We spotted a black squirrel and some deer. The hiking trails are wide, flat, and only have a few roots and medium size rocks to avoid. Easy to light moderate hiking. The con in my opinion was the cost to get into the park. It was $3 at the time of our visit, but I wasn't expecting a fee at all. Other than that I would highly recommend this park.
