I'm a retired senior. Visited Alfred Schmidt Community Center for their indoor pickleball. First time inside. I've been here before to drop off bicycles at the fixer-upper program across the parking lot. It was a fun morning. The computer system was down but staff were pros and handled the situation well. We ( a group of about 12 players) didn't know when our court time was up so naturally we over stayed. The teachers and youth who were scheduled to use the gym were polite and insistent in escorting us off the court. LOL Sorry. Honest mistake. If you look at the schedule at the rec center you will see there are tons of activities, programs, a pool, lessons, etc, etc The center is clean. Lots of parking. Seniors can join for $5 a month or the take Silver Sneakers.

The staff here is fantastic. Ramon and his crew of officials always run wonderful sports programs with amazing coaches and officials. Everything is so affordable, inclusive, and geared toward player and team development.
