From the moment you walk into The Pig in Southampton, you feel an immediate sense of comfort and warmth that invites you to stay. The rustic décor is absolutely beautiful cosy, authentic, and full of character creating an atmosphere that feels both relaxed and special at the same time.

The service is outstanding, genuinely one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The staff are attentive, welcoming, and make you feel truly cared for without ever being intrusive.

And the food… simply wonderful. Every dish is full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with love and quality ingredients. This is without a doubt one of the best reviews I’ve ever written, because everything the ambience, the service, and the food is excepcional.

A truly unforgettable experience. Highly recommended.

We had the most wonderful stay here, catching up with friends. The Pig is perfectly cozy, delightfully friendly, and has an amazing team. Dinner was sublime, cocktails were fantastic, and the wine was flowing. Breakfast offered something for everyone! Their date balls were the perfect energy boost. Grab a table by the fire and make yourself comfortable; it definitely feels like home!

Lovely stay for one night. Pleasant and clean room. Nice little touches eg homemade local soap. Could not get a coffee at 10 pm (as they had cleaned the machine!) Coffee machine in room had no instructions but did not function fully as not enough water came through.
Location was brilliant! Hotel was cosy and quiet.
Had to pay £14 for overnight parking which is expensive. Should be complemtary. Cooked breakfast is £20. Had continental breakfast for £10.
