This is my favorite hotel in all my travels this far. Hotel Santa Fe feels like walking into a haven of art, desert, and indigenous appreciation from the moment you check in. The whole place smells woodsmokey and cozy because of the wood stoves they use daily. The decor is warm, much of it handmade by indigenous artists. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The music is peaceful and ambient.
We were lucky to come off season and the restaurant was empty for dinner- no wait, super friendly and helpful server (Josue). The food was great (get the fry bread obviously) and the prices were great. The hotel is a quick walk to downtown- we felt safe walking. When we got back to the hotel, there was a musician performing in the lounge area and the music was floating into the lobby. This place feels so warm and cheerful and stunning and intentional. The art on the walls is top tier beautiful. Our room was perfect- I didn’t expect a balcony! We were overlooking the hot tub that I didn’t realize was there. It is true that the building is old, so the rooms aren’t the quietest in terms of road noise. In truth, I prefer that to the sound of other people in their rooms, which I didn’t hear at all.
The whole experience was just above average. I will look for excuses to come back to Hotel Santa Fe.

Our family of 3 stayed in a fireplace hacienda room for 3 nights and it was a great experience. The staff was very accommodating, the room was spacious and clean, and the amenities (like the breakfast and happy hour) were excellent. We were impressed by the breakfast in the fireplace lounge which was cozy and has an excellent view of the mountains and surrounding area. This is a very elegant resort that is close to everything you could want including downtown, a premium grocery store, museums, and a park. We conveniently walked to most activities however there is a shuttle that would have taken us anywhere within a mile. We could not have been more happy with our stay.

The service was warm and attentive, everyone I encountered was so welcoming. The food was also incredible and all the meals felt very thoughtful and nourishing.
Conveniently located just a five minute walk from the city center, lots of food and shopping nearby.
One of my favorite details was how the space always smelled incredible like incense or smoke from the wood fires outside, which added so much peace and intention to the atmosphere.
I love that it is a Native owned hotel. You can really tell that everything is deeply authentic and intentional. It's the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and really be present. I'll definitely be back and can't recommend it enough.
