This was my first time here. Had a great view from just about anywhere. Staff was friendly and approachable. Sound was clear and not too loud. I could talk to the person standing next to me without having to scream at the top of my lungs, yet not be distracted by others conversations. Not to mention TKK killed it. What a performance!!

The lighting and sound system are excellent. Whether you’re there for a rock show, a themed dance night, or a tribute band, the production value always enhances the experience. You can really feel the energy of the performers and the crowd thanks to the great acoustics and stage setup.

Clean bathrooms are always a plus, and The Magic Bag delivers — everything was well-maintained, which says a lot about how the venue is managed. It’s those little details that really round out a good night out.

There’s also a bar on-site with a good selection of drinks and decent prices, making it a great spot to hang with friends before or after the show. Overall, The Magic Bag is a local gem in Ferndale and a go-to destination for quality live entertainment. Highly recommended for music lovers and night owls alike!

One of the best venues in the general Detroit area without question. Awesome doormen and bar every time.

This is where the older cult-following bands come back to grace us with their presence– a lot of fantastic British acts! I've rarely seen younger bands here, it's always a very refined, years-in-the-making reunion between a grateful artist and our humble city. These happen to be my favorite gigs, it's nothing but love and admiration in this place. The mature Saint Andrew's if you will.
