Everyone has heard of the Judgment of Paris. And while we prefer smaller wineries, we felt we had to go to this one. We were all super pleasantly surprised at what a small winery feel we got at this one. Stuart was a wonderful host. The cave tour was interesting and not too long (nothing is worse than a tour that goes on and on and on). It was just the right amount of information and history. And then the tasting… phenomenal. You will have trouble remembering not to drink every sip of every tasting here. Really superior wines. And the nice charcuterie board with it was quite delicious and great for being able to pair the wines a little. I think this is a must do. Do not screw it up and go to the wrong Stags Leap… you want this one!!!!!!

First visit my family and I did the cave tour and it was a wonderful experience getting to try their wines and the charcuterie was yummy as well. The caves are great to check out and learn the history of this historic winery.

What really makes it exceptional in my book are the people and the wine is always delicious and enlightening to the palate. Terri is very knowledgeable about wine and growing sites/conditions. She clearly has a passion for wine and it really comes through in her tasting presentations.

Recently I messed up my booking and Terri ensured we could get in earlier the next day to make our flight that afternoon. They offered us a glass of wine while we found another winery to check out and that touch was really thoughtful and shows their commitment to their guests/members.

Do yourself a favor and add this winery to your list while you check out this beautiful valley!
