This store has a lot of local and organic options (including gluten-free and vegan/vegetarian food). They regularly showcase and support small businesses that are based in the surrounding area. They have a small Hot Bar buffet, which includes salad and soup. I enjoy looking through the tiny cheese testers that they offer and trying new things on their buffet. Sometimes a local business is set up just inside of the lobby offering samples of their product (one time it was barbecue sauce and recently there was mead).
The Co-op is basically jointly owned by regular people unlike a typical grocery store, which is just another reason why I go there so much.
The employees are super friendly and helpful. They get to know the guests who come through, especially those who frequently visit. The store itself is kept clean and organized.

Great selection here, specifically for gluten-free and dairy-free options, but the highlight is the wonderful staff! They are always engaging and, befitting of the name, friendly! My car battery died and the staff went out of their way to jump it for me. Specifically Gabi, but the other staff as well. I come here every week and I am never disappointed. This store is also a favorite of my relatives from NOVA that always stop by to stock up whenever they can.

Cool little supermarket with all the essentials. A good mix of gluten free, dairy free, soy free foods. I'll have to come back the next time I'm in town.
