What a great venue. This is a nice local theater house to come see a show with plenty of space and comfortable seating. Highly recommend it. The only thing I found frustrating is that they didn't allow photos or recording, but I think that might have been the theater company, not the venue. I'll have to investigate and report back.

The Barre Opera House is an absolute gem, and seeing the Vermont Burlesque Festival there made the experience even more fun. The venue itself is rich with history, beautifully preserved, and full of character that instantly sets the tone for a memorable night out. You can feel the legacy of performance the moment you walk in.

The show was fantastic: bold, creative, glamorous, and incredibly entertaining. The intimacy of the Opera House made every act feel immersive and electric, with great sightlines and an enthusiastic crowd feeding the energy on stage. The combination of a high-quality, modern performance in such a classic historic space was perfection.

If you love live performance, unique festivals, or historic theaters with soul, the Barre Opera House is absolutely worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back.
