I love Stockton Library it's full of natural light and airy built in the 1960s it has a retro feel to it though it still does not look outdated.
Apparently the second floor is warmer than the first floor especially now that the heating energy bills are increasing.
If the library seems too noisy for studying etc there is always the more quiet reference side opposite.
Also has various groups and a maker station with sewing 🧵🪡 machine's, over lockers, embroidery machine etc which the public can use for free,at various dates and times.
Also activities for children's storytime and playtime groups.
Stockton Library is a community library for everyone.

It's an amazing library, I got textbooks to help me study and I passed all my exams. The staff are also really helpful and give honest opinions about books. It's all organised so well into neat sections. There's also a lot of LGBTQ+ representation in books for both older and younger readers and I think it's great. The computers are helpful, especially if people don't have access to wifi at home. All in all, a wonderful place! Xx
