The chillest vibe and the best bar food in Wausau! We’ve been here twice and love it. The specialty cocktails (gin fizz and old fashioned last night) are supreme. Our first visit was the Saturday Date Night special (a great deal that won’t stuff ya). The smash burgers are quality beef and love at first bite, and the flatbread is crispy with generous toppings. Our bartenders/waitstaff both times were competent and so fun to talk with. And then there’s the music … an eclectic and perfect mix to set the tone for the Victorian Goth atmosphere with Poe memorabilia. We’ll see you again soon!

The atmosphere is fun and distinctive, with a strong Gothic Victorian theme inspired by Edgar Allan Poe. The menu currently focuses on gourmet sliders and shareable plates. Our server was attentive, guiding us through the menu, options, and daily specials. We tried the Tell-Tale Melt Sliders, the Annabel Lee Spicy Smash Sliders, and the Haunter Dollhouse Basket (featuring dill-flavored cheese curds and fries), all of which were delicious. The blackberry chipotle jam on the Tell-Tale Melt was a standout! The presentation was beautiful, and the portion sizes were just right. I'm excited for their upcoming events and can see this place becoming a great addition to Wausau!

Wow cool concept, it's fun trying to find all the hidden Poe memorabilia.
Service was great, especially when there was only one server between the bar and the tables and it was busy. The waitress was going non-stop and doing an excellent job!
I had the classic Masque Smash burgers (you get 3 smashed sliders) and they were delicious.
One downside is it's street parking not a private lot.
