Nice gardens, especially in spring and summer. Limited free 2 hour visitor parking. Rose garden waterfall and fish is pretty. Some nice covered spots for picnic lunches. Can be noisy due to road traffic. Be sure to avoid football and basketball games though

Went 1/12, chilly and not really any foot traffic. The garden was obviously not in bloom, but we still loved every second of it.
It’s so cool how they have the Native mound / along with multiple type of ethnic symbology around the gardens.
We loved looking at the trees / palms / cacti. Parking is a row that is labeled for UT gardens, don’t park in a spot not labeled for that.
Hopefully sometime we can come by when it’s in bloom,
thank you UT for the beautiful garden(s)!

The most beautiful exquisite gardens and I only saw them in the later stages. And still gorgeous. Spring may be best for the flowers. But , there are sculptures and fun surprises in the gardens. It's a great walk , many flat areas to walk as well.
There are vegetable gardens that are organic and pesticides separate gardens , run by the UT students with utmost care.
I've never seen such a variety of trees, plants, flowers cactus 🌵.
This is FREE ya'll! A gem in Knoxville. Though, I'm sure support would be welcome!
