We celebrated our one-year anniversary at The Toasted Frog, and I can honestly say it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. The new owner, Ryan, has brought an incredible energy to the place, and it shows in every detail—from the atmosphere to the service to the food.
Ryan went above and beyond to make our evening special. He personally checked in on us, made thoughtful recommendations, and made us feel genuinely celebrated. It wasn’t just great service; it was the kind of hospitality you remember long after the night is over.
The food was absolutely outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish felt crafted with care, and you could tell the entire team takes pride in what they do. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a special occasion like ours.
If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be treated like more than just another customer, The Toasted Frog is it. Ryan has truly elevated the experience, and we’re already excited to come back. Our anniversary dinner couldn’t have been more perfect.

The star of the show here for me was definitely the rabbit leg, followed closely by the best carrot cake I’ve ever had in my life. The frosting was so light and delicate. Absolutely to die for.
The duck was a little on the game-y side for my tastes, but the person who ordered ate every bite(this was actually their second time back recently and ordered this same meal).
Fantastic and friendly. I’d definitely come back and try something new.

This is a fantastic establishment! 10/10! If you find yourself in downtown fargo make sure to stop by. First the N/A drink the bartender made genuinely broght a smile to my face with how well it was made and tasted. For dinner I had the steak frites, steak was perfectly cooked but I have to say the frites rocked my world! I had to force myself to stop eating them, never had fries that crispy, that fresh and tasted that good! But the highlight was the owner, he was very friendly, running drinks and food, clearing tables. He truly cares for customers and great taste and it shows! I was by myself and he personally checked on me and was a joy to chat with. He even bought me a dessert, and would not let me pay for it! And the dessert was absolutely one of the best desserts iv ever had! I cannot for the life of me remember what it was called but it had this perfect custard (or i think it was custard) topped with raspberry reduction and pistachios! It truly was a fantastic experience. If you like good food, drinks and atmosphere, this is the place for you!
