If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. My 4-year-old son started here 6 months ago and has fallen in love with capoeira. We go to both weekly classes (Monday and Saturday), and honestly, I find myself wishing there were even more. Mestre Chipa doesn’t just bring incredible skill, he has a special way of connecting with the kids that helps them open up, sing, dance, and truly engage. Becoming part of this community has been such a gift to our family. We've made new friendships here and found a space that feels completely aligned with our values. We're super grateful for Axé and everyone that's a part of it.

Popped in to watch my godson at capoeira practice — he is currently in the 4-7 cohort, and I noticed ALL of the children were so cooperative and really respect their instructor. It was beautiful to see them learn a new language, defense techniques, and dance/rhythm! I'll be bringing my niece and nephews for a drop-in class when they visit from out of town!

Chipa is a wonderful and patient teacher. My son has learned so much and is embraced by the loving community that exists around Axé.
