The Soap Factory is an incredible art facility in Minneapolis, MN located across the Mississippi from downtown directly behind the A-Mill lofts. I attended the performance of 'Quizoola!', a durational work where the audience were free to come and go at any point. It was performed by an amazing company from England called 'Forced Entertainment.' I've also visited for the annual 'Haunted Basement' which was an experience I will never forget. My level of fear was at the highest ever after entering that realm of Halloween fright. I highly suggest attending an event at this wonderful art facility. Enjoy!

I was skeptical, but the atmosphere, detailed sets, costumes and makeup, along with the fantastic actors made for a freaking delightful psychological trip. I went through a couple of times, and each experience was unique. I can't wait for the daytime tour to go explore the sets without the scare factor!

Do not waste your money!! My two year could of gone through the so called "haunted basement" and not been scared. The hype of the soap factory made it sound like it was going to be great. Even the workers to the entrance made it seem to be scary. When we went down into the basement it was sourly disappointing. Yes the props where amazing and the art side of it was good. But it didn't play on any fears. You walk into a new room and someone is standing there you can see them…. Wow scary, not. You know exactly what's going to happen. To many groups get put into the maze to close together. You end up running into the people ahead of you. So what might of scared you not longer has an effect because you see what they're doing. The actors do nothing scary they just walk up to you and act like an ass to you. The scary ballerina just stands there and keeps raising her leg up so scary. Again do not waste the 30 dollars per person and the worst haunted anything. I literally could have done a better job scaring people in my house with the lights off. It does not play off of fears people have. They could of had one big room pitch black, had scary sounds and then had lights come on to a image or person and go back to dark would of been better worth the money.
