- 5.0/5:
Makati Museum is a beautiful and well-preserved place where you can learn a lot about the history of Makati and the Philippines. The museum showcases antique furniture, historical photographs, traditional clothing, and cultural artifacts that give visitors a deeper understanding of the city’s past. The Spanish-era architecture of the building itself adds to the charm and makes the visit even more special. It’s a peaceful and educational spot, perfect for anyone who wants to explore local history and appreciate Filipino heritage.

Small, air-conditioned museum. Great stop if you’re in the Poblacion or Rockwell area. No on-site parking, so it’s best to park at Power Plant Mall nearby. Entrance is free.

They offer free screenings from previous Metro Manila Film Fest Entries (MMFF) when I visited, this place is more of an exhibit than an actual musuem.
Pros:
– well ventilated and well lit areas.
– bidet in their toilets
– friendly staff and friendly cats
Cons:
– not much to see or do (place is small and is more text based in showing Makati City's rich history).
– hard to find parking
