Tasty, no frills Japanese. Sashimi is always good and fresh, which is not true for all japanese restaurants.

Sushi Nori used to be a hole in the wall, literally, with few seats and orders mostly for take out. It is so good that they now have a full service restaurant. Food remains good and reasonably priced. Students frequent the place, and that's a good thing!

I love sushi nori! Definitely one of my go to places. They're currently in the middle of changing their menu which is both sad and exciting.

I'm gonna miss their Sunshine Roll which was my all time favorite in their past menu however new menu is showing promise.

I particularly enjoyed Godzilla and Volcano Roll in my recent visit.

Godzilla: I love the unagi on top, paired with a good mouthfeel of cream cheese and tempura flakes. The black sesame coating levels up the experience.

Volcano Roll: It's the regular tuna roll but topped with scallops. In theory it's supposed to be mid but it just works! I couldnt stop munching on this one.

Was a little disappointed because the rice on my salmon sushi was hard? Either it was undercooked or old na. The lava roll (torched) was good though. Was craving sushi so we chose this place but the sushi here did not satisfy huhu
