I visited the zoo during my trip to Saskatoon, and it turned out to be an enjoyable stop. There was a variety of animals to see and different spots to explore. One of the highlights was the butterfly exhibit-I had never been to one before and to see them so close.
The surrounding park area was also a nice visit. I enjoyed going for a walk through the area and seeing the gardens and flowers after seeing the animals. Overall, it was a great way to spend an afternoon and worth checking out if you’re in the area.

I love this place for my grandchildren, It's a small zoo but perfect for little legs. The best time to visit in the morning before it gets too hot. Although it is a place to see animals, I really enjoyed the flowers.

We visit the zoo year round and enjoy it everytime. It is a smaller zoo, but still lots to explore and plenty of unique animals. The train ride and the butterfly house in the summer are my favourites. The train closes earlier and can be a bit of wait to get on, so allow extra time. Animals seem well cared for all in all. At times it can be difficult to see some of the animals in certain enclosures. Looking forward to seeing the new bear enclosure. Worth visiting!
