Absolutely fantastic Museum for families. There are many interactive displays, exhibit tables, and activities. Everyone is able to freely move around and explore. Bright colors and art work, visual and audio story telling are throughout. Very appreciative of the cultural collaboration seen in the signage, history, displays, and story telling.

Many science, fossil, insect, mineral, and rock displays. I really enjoyed their volcano layer diaplay and the story telling booths. Fur trade history with fur pelt displays available. The ship exploration was fun for everyone.

The Manitoba Museum is an engaging and welcoming place that brings Manitoba’s history to life. Its immersive, walk-through exhibits make learning feel natural and enjoyable rather than overwhelming. Highlights like the full-scale Nonsuch ship and the hands-on science galleries add a real sense of wonder. Overall, it’s a well-designed museum that’s easy to explore, informative, and genuinely memorable. Heads-up it takes 4-6 hr to explore everything.

Really enjoyed my visit to the Manitoba Museum. The exhibits are interesting and well done, and it’s easy to spend a few hours just exploring and learning as you go. It’s a great spot for all ages and a nice way to spend time in the city. Would definitely recommend checking it out.
