The staff was really nice and very gracious. They stayed open a little later than intended, and we had a really great conversation with one of the waiters. And I can't say enough good things about the dessert – we had sticky toffee pudding with caramel ice cream. Yum!

Poor planning on my part meant we were in Canterbury with 5 adults and 5 children (all under 5), and nowhere to eat. We stumbled across The Old Brewery Tavern by accident, and were lucky to do so. The food was good, as was the beer and the children ate free. We weren't an easy party to accommodate, but tables were moved and menus adapted, and the kids got an activity pack so were made up. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful so top marks all round.

Nice, efficient service, tasty freshly prepared food, relaxed and contemporary atmosphere, reasonable prices. It's a pity that we went out for dinner without a real hunger, because the simple plates we ordered were really nice! I would definitely recommend this to friends for a dinner and after dinner night out.
