This museum doesn’t have many exhibits, but it’s very interesting. Inside, i learned more about Farnham and some of its history. This was meaningful

A lovely free museum for Farnham's history with lovely staff upon greeting, and very accessible from the town. It was the icing on the cake after a day exploring Waverley Abbey ruins, Farnham Castle Keep, and wandering the town. The museum nicely portrays aspects from all these sites and more on two floors in a picturesque Georgian townhouse so it was good to put them in more context and see further artefacts! There is also a very scenic garden to explore adding to the whole experience – It is 100% worth a visit for anyone exploring Farnham for the day!

A hidden gem! If not because of the brown sign across the road, I wouldn’t have noticed there is such a beautiful and educational museum behind the scaffolding. The staff were all so wonderful, happy for a chat and can tell us so much about the historic building as well as the town. Amazingly there is a mammoth tusk on display in the museum. There are activity bags for children to play anywhere in a quiet place! My two kids had the best museum tea party ever. If we weren’t off somewhere, we would happily stay for longer. What a wonderful place to spend time! It’s also free to visit.
