We rented the Banquet Hall at Branch 297 in Cornwall for a surprise themed-wedding that was promoted as a moving party and geocaching event.
The staff and facility exceeded everything we had hoped for and went far beyond our expectations for a venue rental.
In addition to the Hall rental, we also utilized their in-house catering services for a crowd of approximately 70 people. Our guests were provided with a number of options for dinner and we received many compliments regarding the taste and quality of the food. I'm not blowing smoke when I say that EVERYONE loved their dinner options. I was worried about making a mess of my clothes. I was a sort of Master of Ceremony for the evening and so nervous in general that I didn't plan to eat anything at all yet I still ended up eating almost a full dinner myself because of how tasty it was.
The kitchen kept our wedding cake safe and hidden out of sight and their servers played along with our evening perfectly.
The venue is clean, spacious, has great mood-lighting, an in-house sound system with microphones, fully-stocked bar, and the most wonderful, thoughtful, and helpful staff you will find anywhere.
Branch 297 shouldered a large part of the evening naturally and made it immensely easier to keep our minds on our guests and other aspects of the evening -like our actual marriage ceremony!
Our guests had a wonderful night filled with entertainment and laughs and we would not change a thing.
It was all just perfect.
We can't recommend this place enough and look forward to visiting our new friends soon for Fish & Chips on a Friday Night!

When I needed a place to celebrate the life of my baby girl, Sara, I was so privileged to find this beautiful and dignified place. From the beginning, sweet Marie helped us through everything to make our difficult time so very much easier. The entire group of amazing people that were so helpful and genuinely kind and thoughtful that day will be in my heart forever. I can never thank all of you enough. My daughter would have been so happy as she loved and respected our veterans so much… as do I.
