Our fam of four went to dine at Mama Mias Italian in Seymour TN. Tuesday evening. The owner and young lady server greeted us as we walked in. It looked like the family was sitting together to have their dinner but then a party of 10 and a party of 6 three couples and our party of four, wife my two step sons and I got seated and the owner and I spoke for a bit as his family smiled at us with a welcoming look of kindness and felt like we were in their home. Being that it seemed they were short staffed with only one male and one female server, it became so over whelming as our female server took our drink order and was running back and forth from table to table as was the other server. I noticed that the owner stopped his meal with his family to get on the floor to help his servers as a great boss and manager does to run a successful business. Our server was so amazing as she and everyone else even as short handed as they were, worked hard and delivered everyone's orders and drinks. When our food came out as the owner himself brought to us to help out, I was so impressed to see the amazing team work they all showed to accomplish excellent service. When we saw our food served very hot and fresh, the immediate presentation, the look, the inviting scent of wonderful flavors and authentic Italian spices and home made fresh from scratch entres. Our appetizers were amazing and our food in all was the best authentic Italian home made from scratch meals that we had were by far the added satisfaction to our experience from the entrance. Our server; not only was she a hard working amazing server, she was a super sweet kind server as was her boss and our other server. We were there Tuesday about 6 to 7 30 p m. I have never tipped any server more than 15.00 at times but she deserved the 27.00 we gave her we can't wait to return and hopefully bring more family and friends to experience the best Italian cuisine I have ever had since a Los Angeles California Italian restaurant. There have been two more we have gone to between Knoxville, Sevierville and Gatlinburg , Mama Mias Italian beats all by a land slide in every way possible. My 10 yr old and 13 yr old step sons loved the food very much as my wife and i did also. Thank you all to your family , your staff, your wonderful servers, your chefs and the amazing owner manager and awesome leader. THE BEST ADVERTISEMENT IS WORD OF MOUTH !!!

For a storefront restaurant, this place has excellent ambience! Italian artwork and Sinatra-style music for the mood. Delicious food! And, if you're not in the mood for Italian, get a half-pound burger! Our 17-year-old boys (bottomless pits) were thrilled.
Gluten-free pizza is amazing!
Plus, buy a bottle of wine at Kroger, next door, and you can drink it in the restaurant for a modest "uncorking" fee.

If I could give more stars I would! Everything was beyond delicious and homemade. Denny’s service was superb we will definitely be back and bringing everyone we know!
