I was expecting a budget hotel, and my expectations were far exceeded! The Almont is in a really good location, right next to a small night market in the square. Just a short walk to Jolibee or McDonalds, with plenty of small stores and kiosks nearby.
From the time I arrived, staff were very friendly and helpful. There is no elevator, but they helped me carry my bags up to my room. Not only that, but they did a quick inspection of my room to make sure it was in great condition.
The room was so comfortable! Air conditioning, plushy pillows, smelled great. There are drawers you can lock to store valuables. On the bed were some amenities and two towels. An extra pillow and hangers in the closet. The bathroom was small; and the hot water took a little time to reach the third floor, but it was very hot once it did and I had to keep turning it down. I had a very comfortable sleep. The complimentary breakfast was delicious – tocino and eggs, with rice, fruit and coffee. I highly recommend this place for a quick stopover close to the airport.

The hotel is worth the price and great location. Friendly staff and very accomodating. The room are quite small but its good for 2-4 people. Restrooms functions well and there also have a good internet conmection. Location is near the St. Joseph Cathedral and Agusan River. Very accessible location and food stalls outside. Toiletries are provided and smart tv. Breakfast are awesome. They also have airport transfer that makes are stay very comfortable and easy. Overall, my stay on this hotel is awesome and highly recommendable.
