First of all, the service was great. The front desk staff were very helpful and easy to communicate with all during our 7 night stay. The housekeeping staff were always a pleasure when we asked to exchange towels.
We have stayed at several ANA Crowne Plazas, but this Holiday Inn surpassed them in many ways. I know it's a personal preference, but I felt even the bath and shower products were better as well.

The room was clean, spacious and comfortable

Location was good… an easy 15 minute walk to the station(s) and conbinis and grocery stores nearby. There is a coin laundromat a few blocks away. (My pet peeve is that nicer hotels do not offer self service laundries, I believe that good service should be adding options, not just replacing with full service laundry. But that is an industry thing, not this hotel's fault).

The only small glitch was that we generally choose not to have daily housekeeping as I have sleep equipment that I get tired of packing up every day. They do have a policy of mandatory cleaning on the 5th day. That is good, but we did not know until the front desk called us on that day, just moments before we were leaving the room. We wished we were told at checkin or the day before just so we could plan. I assume that this may have been a rare mistake as the staff was fantastic with every other detail. The policy is good, and I do trust the housekeeping staff, I just would prefer my equipment not out when cleaning is happening.

Overall, this was one of our most pleasant hotels we have stayed in Japan.

This hotel literally save my day!
I only stay in this hotel for a couple of hours.
Cause my flight is delayed for 10 hours, can you believe that?? I have to book a new hotel immediately.
I was so disappointed and nervous, cause the check in time is 15:00 and I need to check in at about 12:00
Although I am a IHG member, but still a great thanks to the hotel to let me early check in.

The ANA Holiday Inn Sendai, located on the 12th floor, offered a broad and bright view. The room featured two large windows, providing an unobstructed view of the scenery.
​The interior environment was kept exceptionally clean, making the stay super comfortable. The double bed was incredibly spacious, ensuring a very restful sleep with absolutely no feeling of crowding.
​The staff service was friendly and thoughtful, creating a warm, home-away-from-home feeling. They consistently offered assistance with a smile, which further enhanced the entire lodging experience.
​The hotel's location is convenient for transportation and offers excellent amenities, making it a superb choice for both business trips and sightseeing tours.
​Overall, the ANA Holiday Inn Sendai excelled in both its facilities and service quality, and I highly recommend it. On my next visit to Sendai, I will definitely choose to stay here again to enjoy this wonderful time. This was a very satisfying and pleasant stay!
